How long is my Restaurant Choice gift card valid for?
Your gift card is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Please note that the date of purchase can be different from the date you have received the gift card.

Where can I spend my Restaurant Choice gift card?
Restaurant Choice gift cards can be spent in a selection of popular dining chains across the UK, such as Pizza Hut Restaurants, Nando’s, Pizza Express, Yo!Sushi, Café Rouge, Ask Italian, Zizzi and The Real Greek. Please note that this list is subject to change.

Can I spend my gift card in restaurants that are not shown on the website?
No. Restaurant Choice gift card can only be spent in restaurants that are shown on the website. If a restaurant of one of the participating chains is not on the website, please contact us
with the name and location of the restaurant.
What can I spend my gift card on?
Your Restaurant Choice gift card can be spent on all food and all drinks including soft drinks, alcohol, set menus and a la carte menus in participating restaurants.
Can I use my gift card to pay online for takeout meals?
No, you can only use your Restaurant Choice gift card to pay for the bill in the restaurant.
Can I use my gift card to pay for tips?
No, you cannot use your Restaurant Choice gift card to pay for tips.
Can my gift card be used in combination with other promotions or discounts?
No. The Restaurant Choice gift card cannot be used in conjunction with any promotions or discounts.
Paying with your Restaurant Choice gift card
How do I use my gift card for payment?
When paying the bill, present the gift card to the restaurant staff and let them know what amount you wish to pay for with your gift card. You can choose to either pay the full amount of the bill with your gift card (if the balance is sufficient),or split the payment between your gift card and another payment method.
Staff must process Restaurant Choice gift cards just like a credit card.
Do I need to spend my gift card at once?
No. You can use your gift card multiple times, until the balance reaches £0 or your gift card expires. If the payment amount is less than the gift card amount, the remaining balance will stay on your gift card until it expires.
Issues with payment
My gift card did not work in the restaurant, what can I do?
There a number of reasons your gift card may be declined:
- There are insufficient funds on your card to cover the total amount of the bill. Please check the balance on your card and if required, request staff to process a transaction for only the amount on the gift card and then process a second transaction for the balance for which you will need to pay via another form of tender eg cash or credit card.
- Your gift card has expired. You will need to pay via another form of tender eg cash or credit card.
- Staff are not processing the Restaurant Choice gift card correctly. Restaurant Choice gift cards should be processed like a credit card.
- Some Restaurant Choice gift cards have 2 magnetic stripes on the back, staff may be using the incorrect one. The thicker magnetic stripe is the one that should be used.
- You are not using the Restaurant Choice gift card at a participating retailer.

The restaurant would not accept my gift card, what should I do?
All restaurants presented on our website here
accept Restaurant Choice gift cards as method of payment. If one of these restaurants refused to accept your gift card, please contact us
with your card details, and the name and location of the restaurant so we can assist.
If the restaurant where you tried to spend your gift card is not listed on our website, they do not participate in the Restaurant Choice gift card program.
The restaurant charged too much on my gift card, what can I do?
If you believe you have been incorrectly charged, in the first instance you will need to raise this directly with the restaurant.
If you are not able to resolve this directly with the restaurant please contact us
and provide your card number and all of the relevant details. We will also need a copy of the transaction receipt for investigation.

How do I order a Restaurant Choice gift card online?

Can I add a personal message to my order?
Yes, if you have selected ‘Ship to Other’ you can add a personal gift message which we will add to the gift wallet.
Can I place an order from outside the UK?
Yes, you can place an order from outside the UK, however we only accept payments from a UK issued VISA or Mastercard card, and only deliver to addresses located in the UK.
What kind of payment methods do you accept?
You can pay for your online order with a VISA or Mastercard that has been issued in the UK.
Do I receive an order confirmation after placing my order?
Yes, within 30 minutes after placing the order you receive an order confirmation by e-mail. If you have not received an order confirmation, please contact us
Can I send the order to a different address?
Yes, when placing the order, please select ‘Ship to Other’. On the payment page you will be given the option to enter the shipping address for your recipient if it is different to the billing address.
Do I receive a VAT invoice after placing an order?
No. You only receive an order confirmation. If you wish to receive a VAT invoice, please contact us
with your Order number that can be found in your order confirmation.
Can I send the order to a different address?
Yes, when placing the order, please select ‘Ship to Other’. On the payment page you will be given the opportunity to enter the shipping address for your recipient if it is different to the billing address.
Do you ship to addresses outside the UK?
No. Orders can only be shipped to addresses within the UK.

How long does it take for my order to arrive?
Orders placed before 3 pm Monday-Friday will be processed the same business day. Orders placed after 3 pm Monday-Friday or on weekends will be processed the next business day. Depending on the shipping method chosen, it can take between 1 to 5 business days from the processing day for your order to arrive. Please see above for all shipping methods.
Can I track my order after it has been shipped?
Yes, if you have chosen Royal Mail First Class Signed For or Royal Mail Special you will receive a tracking code with your order confirmation.
Returns & refunds
Can I return my Restaurant Choice gift card to the store?
If you bought a Restaurant Choice gift card in store the return policy of that store is applicable.

My gift card has expired, what can I do?
Once your gift card has expired it can no longer be used.
Within 3 months of card expiry, you may be entitled to a replacement gift card loaded with 50% of the remaining balance of your original Restaurant Choice gift card as at the date of expiry. Please contact us
to see if you are eligible.
How can I activate my gift card?
Restaurant Choice gift cards are activated at the time of purchase. No action is required by the purchaser to activate the gift card.
My gift card has not been activated, what can I do?
- If the gift card was bought in store, please go back to the store with your gift card and sales receipt to have it activated. Without a receipt, the store cannot activate your card.
- If your gift card was bought online, please contact us with your card number and order number and we will assist in activating your card.
- If you have received your card through a reward or benefit scheme, please contact us with your card number and order number so we can assist you.
- If you do not know where your card was purchased, please contact the person who gave you the gift card and ask them if they have proof of purchase.
My gift card was lost/stolen/damaged, can you replace it?
No, we do not replace lost, stolen or damaged Restaurant Choice gift cards.
